Jeff Hajner, a junior center on the Air Force hockey team, was chosen to travel with a group of cadets on Operation Air Force to Ramstein AFB, Germany, this past summer. Operation Air Force is a summer program that allows cadets to spend three weeks experiencing the operational Air Force. Below is a journal that Hajner kept while in Germany. An assistant captain on the Falcon hockey team, Hajner tied as the team's leading scorer last season when Air Force claimed its second consecutive conference championship.
